Trajan's Markets'
Great Hall reopens
The restoration work on the Great Hall of
Trajan's Markets started
in February 2005.
The works have focused on the whole building,
but were concentrated primarily on the
hemicycle that is the Great Hall.
The complex will reopen in its entirety to
the public 18 October,
but the Great Hall
will be open as a one-off on the night of 9th
September,
on the night Rome celebrates its fourth Notte
Bianca.
